Ingredients
  

  • 2 ribeye steaks 1-inch thick
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley for garnish

Method
 

  1. Season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the steaks to the skillet and sear for 4-5 minutes on each side.
  4. Prepare the gravy by leaving the drippings in the skillet.
  5. Sprinkle the flour into the skillet and whisk to combine.
  6. Pour in the beef broth gradually, whisking continuously.
  7. Add Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and onion powder.
  8. Simmer the gravy for about 5 minutes until thickened.
  9. Slice the rested steaks and serve with gravy on top.
  10. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
