Layered with rich, fudgy brownies, fresh strawberries, and velvety cream, this Brownie Strawberry Trifle offers a delightful balance of flavors and textures that makes it an ideal centerpiece for celebrations and gatherings.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 batch of brownies approx. 8x8 pan
  • 2 cups strawberries hulled and sliced
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Mint leaves for garnish optional

Method
 

  1. Prepare the brownies according to your favorite recipe or package instructions.
  2. Hull and slice the strawberries.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract until soft peaks form.
  4. Cut the cooled brownies into 1-inch cubes.
  5. Begin layering the trifle: add a layer of brownie cubes to the bottom of your serving dish.
  6. Spoon a layer of strawberry slices over the brownies.
  7. Add a layer of whipped cream over the strawberries.
  8. Repeat the layering process until all ingredients are used, finishing with whipped cream.
  9. Garnish the top with mint leaves and extra strawberry slices if desired.
  10. Refrigerate the trifle for at least 1 hour before serving.
