Indulgent Nutella Puff Pastry Hearts for Every Occasion

Ingredients
  

  • 1 sheet puff pastry thawed
  • 1/2 cup Nutella
  • 1 egg beaten
  • Powdered sugar for dusting
  • Optional: chopped hazelnuts or sea salt

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Cut the puff pastry into heart shapes.
  4. Add a dollop of Nutella to half of the hearts.
  5. Top with another heart shape and seal the edges.
  6. Brush the tops with the beaten egg.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  8. Dust with powdered sugar before serving.
