  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 package 10 oz mini marshmallows
  • 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 1 cup Charms or any colorful marshmallow candies
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract optional

Method
 

  1. Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
  2. Add the marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
  3. Remove from heat and add the salt and vanilla extract, if using.
  4. Stir in the Rice Krispies cereal until well coated.
  5. Gently fold in the Charms until evenly distributed.
  6. Pour the mixture into a greased pan and press down firmly.
  7. Allow to cool before cutting into squares.
